About this deal

Keepability [5]– With a vastly expanding collection, these are sure to be collector’s items and will maintain their value It’s unmistakably Luke’s helmet, and any Star Wars fan should be proud to have this on display. Other Lego sets to consider Luke Skywalker’s Red Five helmet is a superb addition to the LEGO Star Wars Helmet collection, and one that would look incredible displayed alongside the other helmets, or next to a LEGO X-Wing. Ideally the UCS Red Five X-Wing Starfighter. Among these is the UCS Republic Gunship, and if previous UCS sets are anything to go by, this set could jump up in price when it hits the aftermarket. So if you're wanting to add the Gunship to your collection, now's the time to do so.

Prepare to take on the Empire with the Luke Skywalker (Red Five) Helmet (75327) – or if you're yearning for the dark side, let our menacing replica of the mighty Darth Vader™ Helmet (75305) be your ultimate symbol of power. The bright colours, and the fact that it’s a Rebel helmet also add to the uniqueness, and I was very impressed by how well the LEGO designers translated one of the most iconic helmets in Star Wars, and also made it so much fun to build.

Other highly rated sets are also leaving, such as the Inquisitor Transport Scythe and Razor Crest. Set # The details are spot-on, and despite some minor niggles like the fidgety chin strap, this is by far one of my favourite LEGO Star Wars helmets yet, as it looks great displayed on its own, or with the other helmets in the collection. Awaken your creative Force - channel Jedi-like focus and mindfulness as you build this highly detailed LEGO Star Wars Luke Skywalker (Red Five) Helmet (75327) model

Each diorama depicts action from recognizable Star Wars™ locations, complete with authentic details to bring the display to life. Join Luke Skywalker, Han Solo, Princess Leia and Chewbacca to escape the Death Star’s trash compactor, complete Jedi training alongside Luke and Yoda on Dagobah, or fly through the forests of Endor™ on a speeder bike. Whichever scene you choose to recreate, a rewarding and nostalgic building experience awaits! I’d love to know what you think of the new Luke Skywalker Red Five Helmet, and what other Rebel helmets you’d like to see

X-Wing Starfighter™

This set included clear instructions so you can relax and enjoy the construction of this Red Five Star Wars decoration. And when you’re ready for another building mission, look out for the other new LEGO Star Wars helmets. It also looks like the Ahsoka sets that were released earlier this month may not hang around for long as they are planned to leave at the end of 2024. In this article, we provide the retirement dates of all LEGO Star Wars sets currently on sale, including those leaving shelves in just a few months time. 2023 Show your respect for a fearless 501st Legion Clone Commander with the build-and-display Captain Rex Helmet (75349) model, straight out of Star Wars: The Clone Wars™ and into your hands. Capture the smooth metallic sheen of beskar armor as you build a stunning LEGO recreation of the Mandalorian’s™ helmet (75328), and pair it with a buildable Dark Trooper Helmet (75343) as seen in Star Wars: The Mandalorian™ Season 2.

I didn’t really like the chin strap, and the microphone/communicator, as they’re quite flimsy, and I found them constantly dislodging themselves while I was handling the helmet. I actually think the helmet looks better without them. Fans of the LEGO Star Wars Helmet collection are in for a treat in 2022, with three all-new helmets to add to their collection, and in the next few days, I’ll be reviewing them all on the blog! Unlike the Batman cowls, Luke’s helmet looks very smart, capturing the iconic details incredibly well. It’s not without its faults, though: the ridge at the top is perhaps a little small compared to its on-screen counterpart and, while a very valiant attempt, the trans-orange goggles don’t quite work.Feel the power of your creative Force as you build the Star Wars collectible Luke Skywalker Red Five Helmet (75327), LEGO set for adults. This buildable model of Luke’s iconic pilot headgear is the first-ever hero helmet or open helmet in the LEGO Star Wars Helmet Collection. Now that we have Rebel helmets, I can’t wait to see more of these – maybe we’ll get those aerodynamic Rebel Helmets soon! The open face nature of the helmet is brand new territory for LEGO, and they’ve done a decent job here with it, and it doesn’t feel as empty like the LEGO Batman cowls. Looking ahead to next year, a further 29 sets are currently scheduled to retire. This includes the long-running UCS Millennium Falcon, the UCS Luke's Landspeeder, and the Mos Eisley Cantina This is LEGO’s first Rebel and open-face helmet, as previous inclusions have mostly been Imperial-flavoured, but it instantly makes a huge impact when you see it.

When I first saw the helmet, and it being an open helmet, I was quite excited as I was hoping it would fit the Wooden LEGO Originals minifigure, but alas, it’s just a tad too large! It would’ve made such a brilliant accessory for it! If this set was priced slightly cheaper, it would feel like better value for money. Whether that will be an issue comes down to what you place more importance on when purchasing a set: if it’s the final model then this will prove to be a decent buy. If it’s the build, you might want to look at other, more involved helmets before this one. — Pictures — Overall, it’s an enjoyable build but one that feels incredibly short, with the whole thing coming together with relative ease and in a relatively short amount of time. It doesn’t feel quite as involved as those that have come before and despite the decent final model, unlike Luke, this set’s build narrowly misses the target. — Characters — Over a third of the Star Wars sets currently available will be retiring this year, with a total of 27 leaving shelves. If you’re a Jedi in training, then you’ll undoubtedly love having this replica Luke Skywalker (Red Five) Helmet in your home. It’s fun to build - minus the odd frustration - and the finished model is a joy to look at.There is a lovely foreword and introduction by LEGO Star Wars Creative Director, Jens Kronvold Frederiksen, and the iconic shot of the X-Wings on the Death Star trench run. Build your collection - This set is part of a series of collectible LEGO Star Wars build-to-display helmet models, each offering a fun and immersive creative experience As with all of the LEGO Star Wars Helmets, no minifigures are included with the set. This is not the section you are looking for. Move along, move along. — Price —
