However, if they become very caked with mud, we can recommend the occasional hand wash in a bowl of warm soapy water (few drops of washing up liquid is perfect), then a good rinse under a running tap and then most importantly of all, hanging to drip dry naturally (NOT ON ANY HEAT SOURCE).
