Beautifully packaged, our Clifton case comes with a dust bag, and each size nests inside the next one up for easy storage. I found the medium-sized case was plenty big enough to pack everything I needed for a week away – I even had room to spare. Stamford wheels were developed in collaboration with the Japanese automobile experts at Mitsubishi, offering enhanced control and a muted tread, thanks to their Lisof tyre fabric.

My old cases have metal loops on the zippers so you can add your own padlock; but the Antler Clifton Luggage Set has built in padlocks with combination codes which are TSA-approved (certified by the US Transportation Security Administration). Inside the case, you’ll find packing straps, a D-zip pocket, plus a waterproof and mesh pocket—perfect for keeping your belongings neat and tidy.The hardshell design meant I couldn’t overpack (which, again, is likely a good thing), but I felt it could have done with an extender zip for a little extra leeway should I have needed it.

The lack of duo-button made for an easier ride when it came to collapsing the Stamford handle at airport security. All these organisational spaces made life on the road so much easier – especially when I was staying at a different hotel every night and needed quick access to my stuff. Upon first glance I was impressed with the sleek, matte colourway and the addition of a fillable suitcase divider to keep the bulk of my clothes flat was a nice surprise when initially zipping open the case. I’ve also got to be honest and I just love having a matching set of luggage, not only because they stack neatly inside each other when I get home but because they look great gliding through the airport together.Each case comes with instructions for how to set your own code and operate the locks – or there are videos online as well.
