FNAF’s Springtrap personality

In the early 1980's, Afton and his best friend and business partner Henry Emily opened the first Freddy Fazbear's Pizza location. Henry manufactured, built, and designed the four main animatronic entertainers ( Freddy Fazbear, Bonnie, Chica, and Foxy) while William would handle the business side of things, such as managing paperwork and finances.

Springtrap's voice lines in Five Nights at Freddy's AR: Special Delivery indicate that he is arrogant, boastful, and overconfident, and even suggests that he wants his victims to fear and respect him. This is in stark contrast to his subtle, poetic, and calculated voice. His mannerisms are incredibly flamboyant. It seems that William's hubris grew larger as he became more experienced as a killer, likely due to the fact that he was never convicted for his crimes and always got away with them. This explains his behavior in Five Nights at Freddy's 3 and Freddy Fazbear's Pizzeria Simulator. Given his nature, William is most likely not insane, he just seemingly does not care for the difference between right and wrong, and simply chooses to be evil for no other reason than to achieve his twisted and unethical desires. Sister Location was released for Microsoft Windows on October 7, 2016, followed by ports for Android on December 22, 2016, and iOS on January 3, 2017, respectively. It was also released on Nintendo Switch in North America on June 18, 2020, and on Xbox One on July 10, 2020. The PlayStation 4 port was released in Europe and North America on July 21 and July 22, 2020, respectively.
