About this deal

This 286-piece construction toy makes a great holiday gift and offers a fun, rewarding building challenge for boys and girls aged 7+. It combines brilliantly with other LEGO® Star Wars™ sets for even more creative fun The torso and legs are identical to those from 75280 501st Legion Clone Troopers which is sensible as the 332nd Company is part of the 501st Legion. These elements include superb detail, continuing onto the feet. Removing the helmet reveals a new Clone Trooper head that looks splendid and the figure carries a standard blaster rifle into battle.

Kids can enjoy hours of epic battle action with this LEGO® Star Wars: The Clone Wars Armored Assault Tank (AAT) building set (75283). The AAT has lots of realistic details to inspire fun, creative play, including opening hatches with space inside for the Battle Droids, LEGO minifigures, 2 spring-loaded shooters and a rotating turret with an elevating cannon. If that price point and piece count together seem alarming, it’s at least with good reason: 75384 The Crimson Firehawk is said to be a 4+ set based on the Disney+ series Young Jedi Adventures, so you can expect plenty of large, unique moulds in the box to allow for a simpler building experience. Whether any parent would want to spend €50+ on a LEGO set for a four-year-old is another question entirely. 75387 Tantive IV Hallway Despite its excessive size, the primary laser cannon includes reasonable detail. The weapon rotates all the way around and elevates, yielding an impressive field of fire. Unfortunately, the elevating joint is too wide, even in relation to the turret housing which already looks unusually broad when compared with the animated series. The AAT building toy measures over 4.5” (12cm) high, 8.5” (21cm) long and 5.5” (14cm) wide. Fans can also command the vehicle in the LEGO® Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga video game for extra creative fun. This 286-piece construction toy makes a great holiday gift and offers a fun, rewarding building challenge for boys and girls aged 7+. It combines brilliantly with other LEGO® Star Wars™ sets for even more creative fun.

The Completed Model

Ahsoka Tano and colourful Clone Troopers from the 332nd Company appear during the climactic episodes of Star Wars: The Clone Wars and have attracted significant attention. 75283 Armoured Assault Tank (AAT) includes both characters and should prove accordingly popular! Looking for the best building toy for a kid who is new to LEGO® sets? This Star Wars: The Clone Wars set comes with easy-to-follow, printed instructions so they can build independently… and feel Jedi-level awesome! Oh yeah, the fandom has had a complete 180* change of how The Clone Wars and Ahsoka are viewed. I remember in 2008 it was all discussions of how Ahsoka was a winny kid being compared to the likes of Weasley Crusher from Star Trek, a Mary Sue with a snarky attitude. Then The Clone Wars as a whole was seen as trampling on the stories made in the prior Clone Wars series, Karen Travis's Republic Commando series and the Star Wars Republic comics. Its easy to forget, but The Clone Wars had a lot of negative reception from the fanbase at launch. Ahsoka wields two blue lightsabers, reflecting her weapons from the final episodes of The Clone Wars. The character has now used three different lightsaber colours in LEGO sets! Her double-sided head features appropriate facial tattoos and two expressions, displaying determination on one side and a smile on the other. Recreate thrilling 501st Legion vs. Battle Droid conflicts from Star Wars: The Clone Wars with this awesome Armoured Assault Tank (AAT) LEGO® building toy for kids (75283)

Nothing is known yet about these four remaining sets, which could literally be anything. (As long as it’s to do with Star Wars, obvs.) Chances are good that there’s another diorama in here – the two previous waves included multiple sets – while at least one might be based on later episodes of The Mandalorian Season 3 or Ahsoka. For now, your guess is as good as ours – but fingers crossed there are a sprinkling of other obscure characters among them for LEGO Star Wars’ 25th anniversary. Every LEGO Star Wars set rumoured for 2024 LEGO set The set forms part of the Ultimate Collector Series, which also includes the LEGO Star Wars UCS Millennium Falcon set, LEGO Star Wars UCS A-wing set, and the recently released LEGO Star Wars UCS Republic Gunship set. Four unique Ahsoka Tano minifigures have been produced since 2008, reflecting her changing appearance throughout Star Wars: The Clone Wars and Star Wars Rebels. The latest example is based upon the seventh season of The Clone Wars and appears faithful to the series. Her dark blue attire features metallic silver and metallic gold highlights which look superb and I like the continuation of this design across the hips. This set includes 2 LEGO® Star Wars™ minifigures – Ahsoka Tano and Ahsoka's Clone Trooper – AAT Driver Battle Droid and Battle Droid LEGO figures, and cool weapons including 2 Lightsabers to role-play action stories. This construction playset is powered by creative kids’ free-thinking – no batteries required – so whether building and playing solo or sharing the fun with family and friends, the galactic adventures never stop! The LEGO Group is rumoured to be going all-out for Disney’s latest Star Wars show Skeleton Crew, devoting a huge 1,325-piece set to the main ship from the new series. With no release date confirmed for the Jude Law-fronted live-action show as yet, though – and rumours of delays circling – 75374 Skeleton Crew Ship might not yet meet its original expected shelf date of January 1. 75375 Millennium Falcon

This set includes 2 LEGO® Star Wars™ minifigures – Ahsoka Tano and Ahsoka's Clone Trooper – AAT Driver Battle Droid and Battle Droid LEGO figures, and cool weapons including 2 Lightsabers to role-play action stories Finer details have yet to be revealed, but with that piece count and price tag, it’s unlikely to be minifigure scale – unless the LEGO Group has opted for a clever forced perspective build that places microscale podracers in front of a minifigure-scale viewing area. We can only dream… 75381 Droideka Clone Troopers from the 332nd Company accompany Ahsoka during the Siege of Mandalore, hence the second minifigure is identified as Ahsoka's Clone Trooper. His distinctive helmet is immediately recognisable, featuring orange designs that correspond with Ahsoka's appearance. A darker shade of orange may have been more suitable, although this colour matches Ahsoka's LEGO skin tone. Viewing the model from either side reveals its most notable shortcoming as the primary laser cannon is too long when compared with the source material. The body section and turret both look reasonable as individual components but appear as though they might belong with models of two different scales! Fortunately, the laser cannon barrel can be modified easily. Currently the only LEGO Star Wars diorama rumoured for 2024 (though that could easily change), 75380 Boonta Eve Podrace Diorama will seemingly mark The Phantom Menace’s 25th anniversary with what will presumably be a microscale build, akin to 75329 Death Star Trench Run Diorama.I am glad The Clone Wars and Ahsoka both have a loved place in Star Wars canon now. The Siege of Mandalore from the final season on Disney+ ranks up with The Mandalorian, Rogue One and Rebels as my favorite products of the "Disney Era" and I think Dave Filoni and crew did an excellent job maturing Ahsoka over the series. The AAT building toy has many cool features to inspire battle play including 2 spring-loaded shooters,a rotating turret with an elevating cannon, plus opening front and turret hatches to place the Battle Droids inside. Here’s where things get really interesting, and not necessarily because of the build: alongside a smaller and more accessible take on 2021’s 75308 R2-D2, 75379 R2-D2 is said to include minifigures of both the eponymous astromech droid and… Darth Malak. The Knights of the Old Republic Sith Lord is rumoured to be one of multiple characters inserted into 2024 sets to celebrate LEGO Star Wars’ 25th anniversary.

The external detail is outstanding though, featuring two control command receiver antennas beside the opening hatch. Ideally, there might be some information displays inside but there is adequate space for the second AAT Driver Battle Droid to survey the battlefield. The head must be retracted when closing the top hatch, matching past renditions of the AAT.LEGO® Star Wars™ construction playsets are great for kids (and adult fans) to build and display, recreate scenes from the memorable Star Wars saga and create their own unique stories
