Fillet of fresh salmon in a cream, leek and artichoke sauce. Served with a timbale of rice and broccoli florets. Spaghetti in a rustic tomato sauce with a hint of chilli, guanciale (cured pork cheek) and red onion. Topped with pecorino cheese. A selection of marinated mixed vegetables, homemade cheese croquette and chargrilled ciabatta, finished with parmesan curls. A choice of any of our pasta dishes offered on the menu – with the exception of Fagottini all’aragosta and risotto al nero di seppia. We aim to produce a new menu for each season providing fresh, modern Italian cuisine with a strong Mediterranean flair using organic and free-range produce wherever possible.Deep fried, goats cheese filo pastry parcel. Accompanied with a home-made spicy red onion jam and drizzled with balsamic reduction.

MENU DI STAGIONE

The most famous of Sicilian street foods. Deep-fried rice ball filled with either Beef Ragù or Spinach & Mozzarella V – just choose one! Children are most welcome. We offer dishes marked with a smiling face at half price for a child’s portion. Vegetarian dishes are marked with a V. Some dishes may contain nuts. Sea bass fillets in a citrus, white wine and basil sauce. Served with sauteed potatoes, spinach and romanesco. Spaghetti chitarra in a rustic, slow cooked meat râgù. Topped with Pecorino cheese. (Usually eaten on a Sunday) Prime fillet steak in a rich beer and onion sauce. Served with roast potatoes, carrots and spinach.

Individual home-made fruttamisu with mixed berries, mascarpone and savoiardi biscuits soaked in a wild berry tea. A twist on the classic Italian tiramisu. Layers of grilled aubergine “parmigiana style” with mozzarella, basil and rich tomato sauce. Topped with herb and vegetarian parmesan crumbs. Usually the aubergines are deep fried: however, we grill ours as the healthier option.A traditional pasta dish from Lazio, cooked with diced guanciale (cured pork cheek), tomato and onion. Finished with pecorino cheese. If you have a gluten intolerance, we can always create some dishes which are gluten free. Please speak to us for further details. LE BRUSCHETTE including Limoncello (served chilled), Nocello (hazelnut liqueur), Grappa and Amaro Averna. And of course you can change any one of them with your favourite liqueur.
